Every building is different, both in terms of its initial design, current energy use and management and we have a determined but relaxed approach to deliver the best possible conservation solutions given the specifics of our clients time frames, business priorities and budget.

Energy conservation and energy efficiency are highly important but never urgent business concerns. It is incumbent upon us therefore to explain the economic imperative of energy conservation to the client. Many companies think of energy as a fixed overhead but saving energy is actually one of the easiest ways to reduce costs,improve your business reputation and maximize the net profit of your company.

Under normal operating conditions a business would need to turnover €40K to €50k in order to retain €10k after overheads and costs are paid. Every Euro saved on utilities goes straight to the bottom line of your business. It only stands to reason therefore that a saving of €10,000 translates to business turnover in the region of €40,000 -€50,000k and for your business this may mean the addition of significant number of recurring annual sales.

GEM normally only recommends energy efficiency initiatives with a 12 month or less return on investment. We encourage our clients to ‘energize’ their utilities so that they become a priority business concern thereby allowing key decisions and a real and palpable difference to be make in this area.
