    GEM was founded for the strategic purpose of taking the breakthrough M2G System control technology to the Irish Market. Initially therefore our core business was thermal energy efficiency in LPHW systems (Commercial and Small Industrial).

    GEM has strategically evolved since 2002 in response to market changes and opportunities.

    GEM-Utilities Ltd involved in ground breaking research project. GEM has just recently embarked on a collaborative energy research project with the Environmental Sciences Department of the University of Limerick. The project is examining energy waste in heating systems due to excessive flue losses in thermal heating systems.

    GEM-Utilities Ltd visit world renowned center for biomass energy production in Sweden. The municipality of Christianstad has converted 54 boilers in municipal buildings to burn wood chip. GEM remains at the fore front of boiler system efficiency by ensuring that it stays fully informed on new and emerging technologies as they apply to M2G system control.
